NFL insider provides important update on Tua Tagovailoa’s return

The starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa has been able to take time off to relax for about three weeks due to suffering another concussion during their match against the Buffalo Bills. Ever since Tua Tagovailoa went down, the Dolphins have also had their fair share of additional issues at quarterback in particular backup Skylar Thompson getting hurt as well.

At present, as it approaches the Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans, the position appears porous. However, Tom Pelissero tries to keep the fans up to date with regards to Tua Tagovailoa’s recovery as he has done lately and this newest update looks as encouraging as they come.

During the recent The Rich Eisen Show, Pelissero, speaking about Tua Tagovailoa’s status, spoke about the fact, about how the Dolphins quarterback was with the team for their Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

“He did make that trip (to Seattle). The doctors cleared him to fly,” said Pelissero.

He continued and mentioned then what the doctors had told him, the other day, and how this was going to affect his day-to-day life and eventually his return to the pitch.

Tua Tagovailoa

Doctors have told Tua Tagovailoa to try and live his normal life, albeit with one key stipulation.

“What he was told in short terms approximates to ‘if you’re feeling good, go ahead and do what you normally do, just not anything to do with football.’ “And that’s what Tua Tagovailoa wants. He wants to be engaged. …

There’s been a multitude of meetings. He was on the sideline … that all tracks with what we have been reporting, which is Tua Tagovailoa is planning to return to the field sooner than later and arguably as early as this season,” the insider concluded. Toggle paragraph citation” Key Points 26.

From the very early stages of Tua Tagovailoa’s most recent injury, the solution seemed to involve him attempting to play this season. Understandably, people had different views on the issue. However, none of them were of great importance. This is all about Tua Tagovailoa, after all.

Nevertheless, approximately two weeks have already passed since the initial shock, and we have seen benefits. The Dolphins did not, however, go out looking for a new quarterback to trade; they simply signed Tyler Huntley, a veteran backup. Ideally, this should say plenty about their designs at the position and how they would like to suspect that Tua Tagovailoa returns in some capacity in 2024.

However, much more he still has to go in terms of feeling comfortable in the pocket, there is a fair amount of truth to the idea that Tua Tagovailoa will be a different quarterback when he comes back.
